All you ever wanted to know about Russia
Is Russia to be your home for a few years? Or is your employee an expat? Then this course is ideal for you. The lessons are split up into three phases during which you learn all you need to know about Russia.
- Phase 1:
The basic language survival kit. Learn the alphabet. Basic vocabulary. How and where to buy things, where to find the doctor on emergency duty, where you can find cash machines.
- Phase 2:
Russia and its culture. Who is Zurab Tsereteli? What is VDNKh? Why is 4 November a national holiday? You are already almost half Russian.
- Phase 3:
The real thing: start studying Russian grammar and expand your vocabulary. With time you will learn that it is not true what they always told you. Russian is not “impossible” to learn. It is all about patience, structure and persistency.
